FACT : To ensure you are safe, the step that comes with your new van must meet an EU standard, EN 1645. Under this regulation it must be able to carry a load of up to 200kg and to be made in such a way that this load (you) won't slide off it in the rain. This standard does not apply to steps you purchase as an accessory. All Milenco steps meet the mechanical standard of EN 1645 and this is the reason we only sell Millenco Steps.
