Happy Bowl Biodegradable Toilet Bowl Liners

Our Opinion:-

If No.2 go down you Loo then Happy Bowl should be your No.1 purchase to save lots of mess.

For years caravanner have tried lining the toilet bowl of the cassette toilet with toilet paper to stop the streaks and mess. Happy Bowl liners are custom made biodegradable paper liners that you place in your toilet bowl before doing a No.2. Keep the flap of the toilet closed. we however recommend just cracking it open slightly, cos when you do a 2 then often you need a No.1 at the same time, this will allow the liquid bit to drain away.

Once you have finish open the toilet flat and flush away your No.2 which will be cocooned in the happy Bowl liner and flush away leaving to mess in the toilet bowl or around the lip seal.

What the manufacturer says:-

In our experience Happy Bowl liners significantly reduce the likelihood that you will need to decontaminate the toilet bowl or rubber seal in your caravan, motorhome or campervan porta potti. We have found that when the bowl is dry the liner and contents normally slide into the cassette as soon as the paddle is opened. A quick flush and all is done.

However, if the bowl gets wet flushing may be required, but normally less than the 10 second pre-flushing as recommended by Happy Bowl. As no two snowflakes are alike, you will have to make a judgement on the best exit strategy.

 Can I use Happy Bowl Liners with a SOG extractor?

SOG ventilation users can still take advantage of the SOG by tearing an appropriate hole in the Happy Bowl liner. Pre-flushing is recommended so that the liner sticks to the toilet bowl.

We have not encountered any issues when emptying the Elsan cassette, nor has a liner entangled itself inside the toilet cassette.

Are Happy Bowl liners a must-have?

We have coped for decades relying on well placed toilet paper, but the Happy Bowl liners are actually more reliable so we are converted.
