Coleman Kobuk Valley 3 Plus BlackOut - 2024

Our opinion:- 

A great little tent from Coleman. the 3 berth dome tent with extended porch is probably the most popular design of small tent on the market, but with the advantage of featuring Colemans patented Black-out bedroom technology. Undoubtedly the big story with Coleman tents in recent years has been the introduction of  Black-out bedroom technology. most tents feature a darked fabric to the bedrooms, which will make it darker to aid sleep. Colemans black-out feature gives an additional lining to the tents flysheet as well as a darken fabric to the inner tent. This blocks out over 99% of light, but also regulates the temperate, so the tent stays warmer at night and cooler during the day, helping you get a better nights sleep.  The Kobuk Valley 3 Plus  is a stable dome style tent with extended porch which pitches inner first. With a small storage area to the side of the front door. No-see-um mesh (no not a mesh you can not see through, but a small flying bug similar to the Scottish midges) helps to keep out the midges and other pesky bugs.

A feature that Coleman tent use on the Kobuk Valley 3 Plus is a mesh pole sleeve for the front porch pole as well as giving a cathedral arch. These features are normally only found on top end tents and ensure a strong design.

The Kobuk Valley 3 Plus is the same design as the Darwin 3 Plus, which is a cheaper option if you do not want the Black-out bedroom technology. 

Good value dome tent, with extended porch that features Black-out bedroom technology, giving it many advantages over similar tents from other manufacturers
